&Open is thrilled to deliver your special gift! This guide details the specific requirements for receiving international shipments in Brazil.

For more general information on the process of receiving a cross border &Open gift, please see this link.

Important Note:

For a smoother customs clearance process in Brazil, please ensure your name entered into the gift platform at redemption exactly matches the name on your government-issued ID (passport or equivalent). &Open's platform will prompt you to confirm this information during the redemption process, along with your CPF number.

CPF Number:

  • What is it? A CPF (Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas) is a unique tax identification number assigned to every Brazilian citizen. It's mandatory for all imports into Brazil.

  • Why do I need it? Customs requires your CPF number to process your shipment. Without a CPF number, customs clearance may be delayed.

  • How do I provide it? &Open's client will need to confirm they have collected your CPF number before the shipment is sent.

Additional Information:

  • High Import Taxes and Duties: Be aware that Brazil has high import taxes and duties, typically up to 80% of the item's value plus shipping costs. &Open will not charge you for these fees, but you may be contacted by Brazilian customs for additional information.

    • Who pays? &Open will not charge you for these fees, but you may be contacted by local customs for additional information.

&Open's Support:

If you have any questions or require assistance with the CPF number or the import process, please don't hesitate to contact &Open's customer support team via support@andopen.co . We're here to help ensure a smooth delivery of your special gift!
