Salesforce
Connect your gifting campaigns to Salesforce and gift invitations are triggered automatically based on your Salesforce data. Gift data flows back into Salesforce automatically, so you always know what was sent, redeemed, or delivered.

How it works in practice
Once the integration is live, your team works entirely in Salesforce. They add a contact to a Campaign, and &Open handles the rest — sending the gift invitation, tracking delivery, and writing the outcome back to the CRM. No spreadsheets, no manual steps, no switching between tools.
Example: your sales team moves an opportunity to "Contract sent." Salesforce automatically adds the contact to a gifting campaign, and &Open sends them a curated gift invitation. When the gift is redeemed, Salesforce records it on the contact — giving your team a natural prompt to follow up.

A Salesforce admin — to configure the sync and set up any Flows or automation

HubSpot
Connect &Open to HubSpot and gifting becomes another action you can trigger from any workflow. Gift invitations go out automatically based on the rules you set — and everything that happens is visible on the contact timeline, keeping your whole team aligned.

How it works in practice
Your team builds HubSpot workflows the same way they always do — but now they can add a webhook action that triggers an &Open gift invitation. Once the workflow is active, gift invitations go out automatically as contacts meet the trigger you've defined. Activity shows up on the contact timeline so your team always knows what was sent and when.
Example: a prospect books a demo through your HubSpot form. A workflow automatically enrolls them in an &Open gifting campaign, sending a gift invitation ahead of the call. When the gift is redeemed, HubSpot logs it on the contact — giving your rep a great conversation starter.

How it works in practice
Connecting your HR system takes a few clicks and a short approval process. Once it's live, your employee data syncs automatically. You can go into any campaign, filter your employees by the criteria that matter to you, and send gift invitations — no spreadsheet required.
A note on data and privacy: &Open only accesses the information it needs to send gifts — things like name, email address, team, and start date. Sensitive fields such as salary, identification numbers, and performance data are not accessed by &Open. You can review exactly which fields are shared before completing the connection.

An HR admin with API access or admin rights in your HR system
Someone with permission to approve the &Open connection from within your HR platform (similar to approving any other integration, like a Slack or Google connection)
Your &Open Account Manager — who will guide you through the connection process
Direct API
The &Open API lets your engineering team connect gifting to any system — your own product, a data platform, or a custom internal tool. It's the right choice when you want gifting to happen as part of a workflow that's entirely unique to your business.

How it works in practice
Your developers use two main actions. First, they retrieve the list of campaigns available on your &Open account — these are the gift collections and budgets you've already set up. Then, when the right trigger fires in your system, they send a gift invitation by passing the gift recipient's name, email, and the campaign they should receive.
The API uses standard authentication and follows JSON:API conventions. Full technical documentation is available at developers.andopen.co.
Example: a customer completes their 100th order in your product. Your platform detects the milestone and calls the &Open API, sending a gift invitation to the customer's email. The whole thing happens in seconds, with no manual step required.
What your engineering team needs to know
Authentication uses a standard API key, provided by your &Open Account Manager
