Overview
Group Name is a helpful optional setting that allows you to better track the batches of recipients that you upload to larger Campaigns.
Because a Campaign can be sent multiple times, this functionality provides you the ability to review each group of gift invitations to better support you in tracking these batches of gift sends.
This is an optional step that can be bypassed if desired. If a custom name is not given to a group, then our standard &Open naming convention will instead be assigned for any batches for a campaign. This will look like Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, etc.
You will see a “Group name” section under recipient details:

And you will now see that group name reflected in Gift History when you review your Campaign:
