As an Admin user, you can create a data segment by following these simple steps:
Use the '+ Add Filter' button to filter your contact data
Apply filters based on the desired subset of data you are hoping for. Keep in mind, the filters that appear are pulled directly from your integration.
Once you've filtered the data to your desired segment, click the 'Save Segment' button to save the data segment.
Important notes:
Only Admin users can create and modify segments
Individuals with the Gift Sender role can view existing segments but cannot create or modify them
Segments are dynamic, meaning they will automatically update as your underlying data changes
The location filter ensures that the subset of contacts are located within a single region. As you'll need to create separate segments for separate regions to align with the warehouses where your inventory is located, you will want to leverage the location filter to ensure that recipients can redeem their gifts without errors due to location restrictions
