You can now build campaigns using On Demand marketplace gifts — the ready-to-ship products from &Open's catalog. Once you've added On Demand gifts to your cart, creating a campaign works the same way it always has.
Creating an On Demand campaign
From your homepage, browse and add On Demand marketplace gifts to your cart. When your selection is ready, select Create Campaign to start the campaign setup.
During setup, you'll be asked whether you want to send all of your gifts or give gift recipients a choice. On Demand campaigns require the "Send a choice" option — each gift recipient picks one product from the gifts you've added to the campaign.
Once you've completed the setup and saved your campaign, select Send Now to add your recipients and send invitations as normal.
Things to know
You can mix On Demand physical and On Demand digital gifts in the Campaign. You can’t mix Enterprise gifts with On Demand gifts in a campaign.
Shipping coverage is calculated automatically. The countries your campaign can ship to are based on the vendors supplying your On Demand products. This is determined during redemption when an address is provided.
No warehouse setup needed. On Demand gifts ship directly from vendors, so there's no lead time for stock onboarding. You can create and launch an On Demand campaign right away.
Questions and answers
Do I need to set anything up differently to use On Demand gifts in a campaign?
No. The campaign creation process is the same. Browse and add On Demand marketplace gifts to your cart, then select Create Campaign as normal.
Why does my On Demand campaign have to use "Send a choice" mode?
On Demand campaigns always use "Send a choice" mode so each gift recipient selects one product. This keeps delivery straightforward — one product, one shipment, one vendor.
Can I include branded/warehoused gifts in the same On Demand campaign?
Not currently. If you want to include both, you'll need to create separate campaigns — one for your On Demand gifts and one for your branded/warehoused gifts. You can mix On Demand physical and On Demand digital gifts in the Campaign. You can’t mix Enterprise gifts with On Demand gifts in a campaign.
Which countries can I ship to?
It depends on the vendors supplying the products in your campaign. The platform calculates your available shipping countries automatically based on your product selection. If a country isn't showing for your campaign, one or more of your chosen products may not ship there — try adjusting your product selection or contact &Open support for help.
What happens if a product is out of stock when a gift recipient goes to redeem?
Because your campaign offers a choice, gift recipients can still select from any other products that are available. If you're seeing unexpected availability issues, contact &Open support.
