Once the &Open MCP is connected to your AI assistant, you don't need to learn any commands. Ask in plain language and your assistant handles the rest.
What you can ask about
Your assistant can look up:
Your gifting budget: how much you have in total, what you've spent, what's committed to gifts in flight, what's left, and when it resets.
Your campaigns: names, descriptions, status, supported countries, and how each one is performing.
The gift invitations you've sent: who each one went to and where it is now.
Some examples of what to ask:
"How much gifting budget do I have left this quarter?"
"Which of my campaigns has had the most gifts redeemed?"
"Has anyone from Acme redeemed their gift yet?"
How to send a gift
Tell your assistant who you'd like to gift and which campaign to use:
"Add sarah@acme.com to my Customer Thank You campaign."
Here's what happens:
Your assistant checks the campaign and confirms the details with you: the recipient's name and email, and the campaign they'll be added to.
Once you confirm, &Open creates the gift invitation. The gift recipient receives a personal gift link. Depending on how the campaign is set up, they either choose their own gift from a selection or receive the gift the campaign specifies.
Your assistant shares that personal link with you, so you can also pass it on directly if you prefer.
Sending a gift uses your gifting budget, so your assistant always asks before it sends anything.
Following a gift's journey
Every gift invitation moves through a set of statuses you can ask about at any time:
Submitted: the invitation has been created and sent.
Redeemed: the gift recipient has claimed their gift.
Dispatched: the gift is on its way.
Delivered: the gift has arrived.
A cancelled invitation shows as cancelled.
Try asking,
"What's the status of the gift I sent to Sarah last week?"

Can I pick the exact gift someone receives?
The gift recipient picks their own gift from the campaign's selection. To control what they can choose from, adjust the gift selection on the campaign in &Open.
Will my assistant send gifts without asking me?
No. Sending creates a real invitation, emails a real person, and uses your budget, so your assistant confirms the recipient and campaign with you before every send.
Can I create or edit campaigns from my assistant?
Not yet. Set your campaigns up in &Open first, then use your assistant to add gift recipients to them.
Can my assistant see my teammates' campaigns or gifts?
Your assistant sees exactly what you'd see when you log in to &Open, no more and no less. The connection follows your &Open permissions. If you're an admin with visibility of your team's campaigns and gifts, you have that same visibility through your assistant.
