Once the &Open MCP is connected to your AI assistant, ask in plain language and your assistant handles the rest.
What you can ask about
Your assistant can look up:
Your gifting budget: how much you have in total, what you've spent, what's committed to gifts in flight, what's left, and when it resets.
Your campaigns: names, descriptions, status, the countries each one ships to, and how each one is performing.
The gift invitations you've sent: who each one went to and where it is now.
Some examples of what to ask:
"How much gifting budget do I have left this quarter?"
"Which of my campaigns has the best redemption rate?"
"Has anyone from Acme redeemed their gift yet?"
Gift and campaign cards
When your assistant shows you a gift or a campaign, it shows it as a card. Choose Details on a card to flip it over and view more. Cards work in AI assistants that support them, including Claude, ChatGPT and Codex. Other assistants show you the same details as text.
The back of a gift card shows the gift's timeline: when it was sent, redeemed, dispatched and delivered.
The back of a campaign card shows how the campaign is doing, including how many gifts are at each stage and its redemption rate.
Campaign cards also show how gift recipients receive their gift and which countries the campaign ships to. That makes similar campaigns easy to tell apart, like a US and an EU version of the same thank-you campaign.
Pasting a link from &Open
Paste a link from &Open into the conversation and your assistant looks up what it points to.
A gift's link from Gift History opens that gift's card.
A campaign link opens that campaign's card.
A gift reference, like ACME-M5RD6J8, finds the matching gift.
Your assistant can't look up a gift recipient's personal gift link. It asks you for the gift reference or the gift recipient's email address instead.
Following a gift's journey
Every gift invitation moves through the same stages, in this order:
Submitted: the gift invitation has been created.
Redeemed: the gift recipient has claimed their gift.
Dispatched: the gift is on its way.
Delivered: the gift has arrived.
Some gifts skip a stage. A gift invitation that's been canceled shows as canceled.
Because these are stages in one journey, a delivered gift has also been redeemed. &Open tells your assistant to count it that way, so "How many of my gifts were redeemed?" includes the ones already dispatched and delivered.

Sending and canceling gifts
Your assistant can also send a gift invitation and cancel one that hasn't been redeemed. It checks with you before doing either.
Questions and answers
Can I create or edit campaigns from my assistant?
Not yet. Set your campaigns up in &Open first, then use your assistant to add gift recipients to them.
Can my assistant see my teammates' campaigns or gifts?
Your assistant sees what you'd see when you log in to &Open. The connection follows your &Open permissions, so if you're an admin with visibility of your team's gifts, you have the same visibility through your assistant.
Does my assistant look at all my gifts, or only the recent ones?
All of them. &Open asks your assistant to read every page of results before it counts or compares anything. If a number looks off, ask your assistant to check again.
