Our platform allows users to cancel individual gift requests that have not been redeemed yet.
After a Gift request is cancelled:
It cannot be re-activated.
It prevents recipients from redeeming the gift in that request.
Note:
Gift sender roles can only cancel gift requests they have created and cannot cancel gift requests from any other user.
To cancel a gift request
Navigate to the Gift History page and select a gift request that has not been redeemed yet. You will see the option to cancel a request on the right side.
Confirm the action.
Once cancelled, you will see the confirmation in the gift request details page.
Cancelled Gift requests are marked in the gift history page as well.
The recipients will see a page informing the gift cannot be redeemed.
