To set up a bulk send, first make sure to add the desired physical gifts to your cart.
Please note that this functionality is not available for digital, cause, or On-Demand gifts.
Once you have added your desired items to cart, proceed to the checkout flow. When you see the question "What would you like to send?" select "A bulk order for an event" from the dropdown.
Keep in mind that only Admins have the ability to create bulk sends. To update your roles and permissions, contact one of your account Admins to assist you.
Next, specify your desired quantities. [Important] If the cart contains gifts with variants, you can specify the quantity of each variant.
There may also be instances where you choose not to send specific variants as well. For example, you can set the quantity for Sweatpants sizes S and M to 0 while assigning quantities to sizes XS and L.
After adding quantities, you'll be able to proceed to the step where you can enter the desired address for these items to be delivered to. [Important] The recipient details section clearly indicates the warehouse from which the gifts will be shipped, so it's important to be aware of the possible delivery limitations for that warehouse.
Contact support@andopen.co if you have questions about your preferred delivery location.
Click on "Confirm Order" to proceed and you will see a confirmation page confirming that the order has been sent onto our Logistics team.
You can then view and track your order in the gift history details page. Please keep in mind that bulk sends can sometimes have longer turnaround times. See our article here on SLA's for more information.
A note about potential errors that could occur -
Please keep in mind that the &Open platform checks to be sure that the Team that you are assigned to has sufficient stock allocated to it to be able to initiate the bulk send. You will not be able to send more items than your Team's allocated stock. If you attempt to do so, a warning will be displayed and we suggest updating your Team's stock allocations. See our Stock Allocation article here for more information.
Here is an example of what that error could look like:
If a user has a budget assigned to them, please note that the platform also must check that you have sufficient budget allocated. Users cannot send items exceeding their allocated budget. If they attempt to do so, a warning will be also be displayed. If this occurs, we suggest updating your budget. See our Budget Limits article here for more information.
